I am the adoring husband of Lisa, the proud father of Sammy, Arwen, and Isaac, lead evangelist of the recently planted Grand Strand Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, graduate of the University of Georgia, surfer of waves, lover of music, enjoyer of the outdoors. I love watching movies with my wife and wrestling with my crazy kids. I love praying on the beach under the wide-open sky. I am the son of Sam, brother of Jonathan, and brother-in-law to Kevin and Jesse. And I am psyched to be working with these men to spread the Warrior gospel! The Warrior message hits close to home for me. In so many ways, I feel that I am in the thick of the battle at this point in my life. I am raising elementary aged kids, I’m officially past the decade mark in my marriage (which has brought new joys as well as new challenges), I’m trying to get a new church off the ground, and I’m smack in the middle of my thirties. Since relocating my family to Myrtle Beach in 2013 I have felt more stretched in my faith and in my manhood than ever before. It has been hard. And I love it! I have come to believe that our thirties are a defining time as men to get to work and go to war. Jesus said the harvest is plentiful, but workers are few. It is my fervent prayer that the message of Warrior will be a call to arms, an inspiration, and, frankly, a strong shove in the right direction to get us men into the battle. It is time to go to war and get to work for God’s Kingdom! I look forward to sharing and connecting with other warriors around the globe. Let’s rise up and fight the good fight together!
